9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Abba Father,
May you remind us that weaknesses in us equals strength in You. May You remind us that weaknesses in us are a display of Your grace in our lives designed and purposed to keep us from becoming self-sufficient.
All we bring to the table is weakness. There is no strength in me. There is no strength in us. To think otherwise is arrogant and dangerous. The moments, the days, the months that we feel overwhelmed, inadequate, and weak; these, these are moment of opportunity for Your strength to shine in and through our lives. These moments are Your grace reminding us that we NEED You. They are moments designed to refresh in us the beauty of Your strength and refresh our souls with delight in Your being and might.
Oh Abba, that we might remember; that we might see weakness as a blessing from Your throne and come to rest securely in the arms of the eternal God who takes our weakness and turns it into something beautiful! May we see Your beauty in this grace.
May your strength rein in us!
