Core Values
We Value Biblical Authority
We value the personal and public reading, teaching, and study of the Holy Bible, and believe God’s Word provides the absolute truths essential for godly living and is the final authority for our lives.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3; Romans 10:13-15)
We Value a Culture of Prayer
We value an intimate relationship with Almighty God through consistent, intimate, and passionate prayer. We are committed to integrating prayer into every aspect of our Christian life because we recognize our total dependence upon Him. (Philippians 4:6-7; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; James 1:5)
We Value a Lifestyle of Worship
We value a lifestyle that acknowledges and proclaims the glory of God by worshiping Him in ‘spirit and in truth;’ that is, worship that engages the whole heart of a properly informed believer. As our knowledge of God increases so will our appreciation of Him. Only then, will we bring the Lord greater glory through our lives. (John 4:23-25; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Psalm 95:5; Revelation 4:11)
We Value Serving
We value the development and application of spiritual gifts for the edification and defense of the body of Christ. We value hearts that willingly desire to serve others joyfully and selflessly for the glory of God and the well-being of His children.
(Ephesians 4:11-12, 15; 1 Corinthians 4:2; 12; Romans 12)
We Value Fellowship
We value fellowship that is dynamic and genuine. Biblical fellowship is the thoughtful pursuit of continually developing open and honest relationships within the body of Christ.
(Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24-25; Galatians 6:9-10)
We Value Unconditional Relationships
We value unconditional relationships, that is, relationships which seek to be a means of grace to others seeking no benefit in return. We are committed to the act of giving and not of receiving. (Mark 10:45; Matthew 20:26-28; Ephesians 4:25-32)
We Value Evangelism
We value the deliberate and intentional sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our neighbors, friends, and family that they may know God, believe in Him, and repent of their sins, finding forgiveness and reconciliation. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Colossians 2:9-15)
We Value Discipleship
We value an ongoing commitment to come alongside others with the truth of God’s Word, and to help them grow in holiness as they come to know Him more intimately.
(Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 2:2, 15; Colossians 1:28)
We Value Family
We value the family and support the development of godly families through equipping, encouragement, and discipleship. (Proverbs 22:6: Ephesians 5:22-6:4)
We Value Excellence
We value the pursuit of excellence in every aspect of our lives and ministries. Godly stewardship demands that we set a Christ-like example to those around us by giving the Lord our very best. (Matthew 5:14-16; Colossians 3:23-24)
